This evening I didn’t really do much, this was in accordance with the rest of the day really.

I played about with some photos creating a HDR from a RAW file that I took on Sunday but can’t quite decide if I like and experimented with my tripod and combing multiple exposures within my room.

I like my Split Personalities and hope to experiment further with the technique.  I’d like to be able to make it look like there were loads of identical boxes in the room, but I haven’t quite got my head round how I could accomplish it without difficult post processing.

I looked at some of the programmes offered by the graduate school earlier as I need to do 20 credits of extra stuff to get my MRes.  I like the sound of  quite a few and hope to do the stats one and an academic CV workshop which I could really do with!  There seems to be an awful lot to of potential things for me to tackle as part of my project and I have my fingers crossed that a PhD may result.  If not then there will be opportunities elsewhere I’m sure.

I’ve got a busy day tomorrow; in the morning I’m isolating snails to create breeding lines, then I have a stats lecture and I am going to the introductory seminar later in the afternoon.  All the MRes and PhD students at university park have been invited to a meal by one of the labs and I am weighing up going, I’d certainly like to go for drinks afterwards but would probably be a bit nervous to go without knowing whether anyone else I vaguely knew was.

Anyway I’m going to get off to bed and read for a bit before I ring Karen once she gets back from the pub.
