Visiting Neverland…

I’m visiting my fiancée at the moment. We’re going to see Michael McIntyre tonight and I’m very excited. Last night we went to Space which was a lot better than I thought and I really enjoyed myself despite a severe case of the sleepies.

I’m looking at PhDs at the moment although I don’t think the majority of them will be out until the new year. Its fairly nerve-wracking and I hope I get one as I do want to spend at least some of the rest of my life doing this. The process of discovering new things and expanding current knowledge on how the world works, particularly related to biology really appeals to me.

I’m hopeful that I can accomplish my goals with the right determination and support.

Speaking of PhDs I’m going to a lecture by Jorge Cham of PhD comics fame! I’m rather looking forward to it although I’m not sure quite what to expect. There is a book signing afterwards so maybe I will treat myself to one of his tomes of wisdom too!
