Tanning in Fez

This is the viewing gallery over the tannery in Fes.  We’d been walking around the Medina for hours which smelt a bit odd what with all the donkeys and chickens roaming about causing havoc.  The tannery was amazing, we got given sprigs of mint to put under our noses to combat the rather unpleasant smell.  There were loads of leather bags, cushion covers and slippers in the shop which were available in every colour.  Karen eventually bought a cushion cover in Marrakech which I believe is sat in her shed at home!
