Saharan Sand…

My attempt at the stereotypical sand dune shot.  It was unsurprisingly hot out in the desert proper.  We arrived at some sort of outpost that takes hapless tourists like us to spend the night in the Sahara in a “Berber Camp” and waited until the sun was a bit lower in the sky before picking camels and venturing out.  It was a truly beautiful place, pure unadulterated desert with rolling dunes and endless sky.  We spent the night on a dune and got caught in a sandstorm which certainly added to the experience.  I just wish there had been more stars to gaze at…
