Marrakech by night…

This is the Djemaa el Fna the main square in Marrakech.  By day its fairly quiet with a few traders and donkey carts, but by night it really comes alive with a thousand orange juice vendors, all claiming they have the best price, snake charmers, and a gluttony inducing range of smells from the food merchants dotted around the square.  Its quite unlike any place I’ve ever been and whilst I wouldn’t want to live there it was definitely a key experience in Morocco.
