Castle on the Coast…

I’m in the mood for an adventure! Where better to start than with a windswept castle on the North Sea coast. This is Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland seen from sand dunes on the beach below it. Taken one perfect summer’s evening after a day at Seahouses that included a boat trip watching the sea birds just after breeding season had ended. Next year I hop to go back at the height of the breeding season to get some puffin shots.
