House in the country

This is Wollaton Hall, a large, old house in Nottingham that has been converted to a museum.  It also has a deer park and a golf course, we went to go and photograph the deer during the rut to see if we could get some stags baying.  However the deer had decided to have a game of golf which made things rather difficult since non-golfers aren’t allowed on the course!  To my further disappointment this wasn’t seen as an acceptable excuse for buying a 600mm prime lens either.
