Evening Tide

This is perhaps my favourite place in the world, down on the estuary near the Holker Estate, walking the dog with K and capturing the amazing light found down there. This evening was no different and we had a good wander until it got too dark to continue as I had left my tripod to concentrate of enjoying the moment with K. The sunset was pretty spectacular and we just caught the tail end of it, there was some wonderfully atmospheric mist over at the light-house on the other side of the bay but I’d only brought my wide angle so it will remain a powerful memory rather than a photo, sometimes that makes things better.
