This is the beach at Millom, we were there for the annual agility show, although K wasn’t competing this year.  I really like the way using a telephoto compresses the scene emphasising the different layers in the shot.  A lot of people complain about wind farms, like the one on the far hills here, but I don’t mind them in small numbers like this.  I think its a good reminder of how reliant we are on our environment for our current lifestyle and that its important to work with nature rather than making nature work for us in our never-ending quest for energy sources.
