Autumn is officially here and its a welcome change knowing that trees are turning beautiful colours.  There has been some amazing evening light with wonderful long shadows that I need to get out and take advantage of.  Last weekend we went conker picking, the first time in years I’ve done that, brought back some great memories and made me feel like I was 10 again.

I’ve been trying to get out of the house more, one experiment I’ve done has been working on panning shots.  Currently its a case of controlling the blur better, I’m going to go out with my longer lens next week and have another crack at it.  Fortunately the cloudy days we’ve been having mean it’s not been too difficult to get low shutter speeds, and the nice diffused light certainly helped the photo of this lonely leaf.  Next week I should have something I’m willing to put online!
