This is Swallow Falls near Betws-y-Coed and Capel Curig in North Wales.  Its the best waterfall photo I’ve ever taken both in composition and lighting.  The shot is an HDR converted from a single raw file taken using a Sigma 10-20, Nikon D300 and a 4 stop ND filter.

The waterfall itself is literally just next to a main road and you have to pay £1 to go through a turnstile gate to get in (difficult with camera gear and tripod!) but definitely worth it as it’s a really nice place to shoot.  I had a great time in North Wales and took full advantage of having two “assistants” (my Dad and Brother), stopping the car whenever I felt like it and getting them to help me carry stuff.  I almost felt like a pro.
