I tried a new technique for this photo of Durham Cathedral. Originally I took multiple exposures and fused them to make a HDR but it didn’t look quite right. However, I had also take a RAW shot of the same point so made two jpegs and then fused them. One photo was manipulated to make the sky look right and one for the Cathedral itself; I then imported them into photoshop from the RAW converter and used a layer mask to fuse them producing this. I really like it, it’s a bit different to what I normally produce, which is often HDR based, and I thought it worked really well. It’s good to another string to my bow!
