Science, Photography, Life etc…

Quick update this week before a large post sometime on Sunday! I’ve been very busy this week but have managed to persevere with photo-a-day thus far. I had an interview on Tuesday and have been working on the corrections on my MRes thesis for the rest of the week hence the lack of updates.
Today’s photo is of a pepper plant, a particularly plucky pepper plant which has braved the cold and survived some bugs and will probably produce peppers in several years time but it is the nicest looking pepper plant in my possession. There was some really nice contrasty light about an hour ago and this looked pretty good on the plants leaves. This is taken inside with a nice fast shutter speed to create a pitch black background making the green leaves pop out accentuating the chiaroscuro effect.
