We spent the day in Cambridge on Saturday, taking in the sights of the various colleges, the Cam and of course loads of tourists! We nipped into one of the large university bookshops to find new things to download for our Kindles and I came across the secondhand section with this amusingly titled shelf. Indeed I thought the notion of a secondhand language was rather apt for such a scholarly city and it’s academic prowess.
FYI – A pidgin language is one which is very simplified, often used between people who are not fluent in the same language.
