Science, Photography, Life etc…

On Easter Day we went to Mark’s Hall ( a country park in Essex), running through the country park is a picturesque river that crosses several wears (photos to come). This is the river at its widest point in the park and the sunshine made it all very tempting to jump in and cool off! It was incredibly unbusy given it was a holiday, but I wasn’t complaining as the walk round the park was very relaxing. In one of the lakes there were a shoal of carp, literally hundreds of fish about a foot long. I was waiting for one to swim to the surface and gulp down an unsuspecting duck but sadly this didn’t happen.
There’s a photo competition taking place and I’m thinking I should go back and take a couple of more well thought out shots before I enter as it should give me a good challenge of thinking a bit more creatively than the more aimless snapping which occurred at the weekend.
