Science, Photography, Life etc…

This bank holiday weekend we went back up North to visit K’s mum and the dogs. On Sunday this meant the weekly beach walk and getting covered in sand and sea water by lots of excited dogs! I’ve never particularly been a dog person until I met K, but now I find myself thinking that it would be unthinkable to not have one or four at some point in our lives. This weekend was particularly poignant as one of the group very recently lost their husband to a debilitating cancer and it was the first time we’d seen her. My work is somewhat linked to cancer research and it’s really made me think about what I’m doing more.
The dogs love playing in the sea; this lot are chasing a tennis ball and the mass of fur and water lent itself well to a black and white conversion with increased structure.
Here it is on my map.
