Science, Photography, Life etc…

Not much going on this week so I’ve got something from the Easter bank holiday weekend to share. This is one of the paths snaking through Hatfield Forest. Apparently its a quintessential Medieval hunting forest which has never been ploughed, I must admit it wasn’t fascinating but that may be due to the huge amount of people there enjoying the unseasonally hot bank holiday weather meaning we couldn’t get an ice cream. I’m loving black and white photos at the moment as well (see my previous post), for this shot they emphasise the different light patterns the leaves make on the forest floor and give the overall mood a more enchanted feel than the colour version.
Here it is on my map.
