This is St Michael and All Angels Church in Hawkshead, its clearly an oasis of calm in this busy tourist centre, with its overabundance of outdoor clothing shops and pubs!  We visited last year and there was a particularly intriguing boutique filled with lots of weird trinkets that would’ve made for excellent photos if it hadn’t been so small and crowded.  If we go again I’ll get some to show here.

Next week we’re off to the Lake District for summer holidays; there will be photographing, dog agility, cooking, walking and best of all relaxing!  So no post for a few days but hopefully I’ll have lots of good shots and stories to bring back and share on here.
