Walking the cloisters

September 28th, 2011

I spent a great time back in the North East last weekend, visiting my parents and watching K compete at an agility show.  We managed a quick trip into town on Saturday and I spent a very brief time in the cathedral.  I always try and go when I’m home and even a fleeting trip is enough to remind me of the awe inspiring nature of the building.  This photo is from my favourite haunt of the cloisters (you can’t take photos in the main building), a simple piece of architecture that is my ideal thinking space.
