Science, Photography, Life etc…

When we had the heat wave a couple of weeks ago the light was stunning on my drive home from work. It had been bugging me for a few days that I wasn’t taking advantage of it, so I finally remembered to take my camera to work and actually stop and play on the way home. I knew there was an appropriate subject to shoot, because I scout it out every day on my drive back from work. So I stopped and got a few shots of these adorable donkeys and ponies, I liked this one in particular because, well, its a cute donkey nose!
I had my long lens on as the side of the field nearest the road would be in shade, but unhelpfully the donkeys came running over to investigate me, perhaps they thought I would have food, so I ended up shooing them slightly to push them back into the nice light.
Here’s a slide show with some of the other photos I took, along with some from our exploits in the Cambridge University Botanical Gardens from my previous post.
