Yesterday we went to Hatfield Forest, I was hoping for some fantastic autumn colours, but unfortunately only a few of the trees had turned.  Out on the far side of the lake, we did  find a few trees which were wonderfully orange and with the sun hanging low in the sky I grabbed this HDR.

The rest of my images from the day are in my Autumnal Adventures album on Picasa, but there was one more shot I was particularly pleased with. Below is a shot from the lake side looking north west under the rays of the setting sun.
