Finally got to explore Finchale  Priory earlier this month, taking advantage of some great Winter sun that creates beautiful golden light before sunset.  I’ve been here before with my camera, but only briefly so it was great to get the chance to have a proper look around.  This shot is looking across the River Wear away from the Priory itself, hopefully the cold blue tones will give you a hint of how cold my fingers were feeling from having the camera out too long!
