September 18th, 2009

Simon Boardman recently submitted his thesis for an MRes in Molecular Evolution at the University of Nottingham.  He is an amateur photographer with a particular passion for landscapes and sport, notably field hockey.  He currently works for Illumina where next generation genome sequencing is rapidly developing as the next big thing for biology.

A keen traveller, with a passion for interesting and unique photos, he hopes to continue exploring the world with his wife, Karen, and develop a career as a successful research scientist.

You can find more up to date information (mostly what he has eaten for breakfast…) via twitter and see more photos in his portfolio.
